On the 3rd of July 1963, the first Clitty Teller movie was released.
Clitty Teller originated from the creative mind of Percival Carruthers, who sought to emulate the success of Ian Fleming, his former colleague at the Naval Intelligence Division. Carruthers essentially replicated Fleming’s iconic character, James Bond, with the hope that by transforming the character into a woman, the resemblance would go unnoticed.
Although Carruthers’ Clitty books did not achieve significant sales, they managed to gather a dedicated niche following, attracting the attention of ambitious movie producer Peterson Leigh, who swiftly acquired the rights.
Upon learning that James Bond was being brought to the silver screen, Leigh promptly embarked on producing the first Clitty Teller film titled ‘Professor Affirmative.’ However, United Artists caught wind of this project and issued a threat of legal action. Ian Fleming personally contacted Leigh saying that ‘he knew people’, while Albert R. Broccoli offered Leigh an invitation for a wrestling match.
In an attempt to evade these potential lawsuits, Leigh fled to the South of France. It was during his time in France and hearing French people, that an idea struck him. By filming the Clitty Teller movie in France, with the actors speaking French, he believed that the English audience would be unable to comprehend it, thereby avoiding any legal repercussions.
And so, ‘Professor Affirmative’ became the deceptively titled ‘Professeur Affirmatif.’

Seraphine Connelle, who was working as a bricklayer at the time, was cast in the role of Clitty Teller. In this rendition, Clitty Teller transformed from a British Secret Agent to an Anglo-French agent working for M.O.I.S.T (Ministry Of International Secret Transmissions).
Fleming, Broccoli, and United Artists remained oblivious and so Leigh decided to make some more.

The second movie in the series saw Seraphine Connelle return to the role.
M.O.I.S.T Agent Clitty Teller is sent to seduce a Russian accountant who has a ledger of the bank accounts held by evil organisation S.N.A.T.C.H (Special Network and Tactical Counter-Intelligence Hierarchy)

CHATOUILLEUR D’OR was the first time a Clitty movie saw success in England
At the time of its release in 1965 the English had started to watch French movies to try and seem more sophisticated (and hope someone gets their tits out)
The 3rd Clitty Teller movie did not disappoint

The fourth Clitty Teller movie had a higher budget so the action takes place on a tropical island where Clitty must use all her cunning and skill to stop two massive balls filled with plutonium from exploding

In TU NE DONNES QUE DES SOURIS, it’s M.O.I.S.T Agent Clitty Teller versus S.N.A.T.C.H nemesis Blõbach as Clitty attempts to stop genetically altered mice from taking over the world’s satellites. Some critics argued it was implausible that the world would allow rich megalomaniacs from firing stuff up into space.

When Seraphine Connelle left the role of Clitty Teller to return to bricklaying, model Genevieve Lasenelle made her only appearance as the popular M.O.I.S.T Agent
A fan favourite movie featuring the popular ballad “Nous avons un peu manqué de temps”

Seraphine Connelle returns as Clitty Teller for one last (official) time
It’s Clitty vs Blöbach once again as she tries to put stop to an emerald powered laser.

A new era for Clitty Teller as Romilly Moreau, previously known for her role in the 1960s TV series “La Pécheresse”, takes over the role as the feisty M.O.I.S.T Agent.

Romilly Moreau returns as Clitty Teller as she takes on her most deadliest adversary to date – Scaramouche Fandango, who wants to harness the power of the sun for some evil reason

The 10th Clitty Teller movie and one of the most popular thanks, in part, to the appearance of villainous henchman Monsieur Biteymann.

Clitty In Space!
The normal realism of the series jarringly made way for a finale set on a space station as Clitty takes on billionaire Jeffrey Muskberg who has surrounded the earth with killer satellites
However Monsieur Biteymann is in it. So all is good.

Clitty Teller back in action and sent to retrieve a Minitel 1 computer which controls all the lighthouses in the world and avert a global maritime disaster.

Clitty Teller returns to take on the formidable Mr Khan who wants to take down a number of NATO military bases with a boat load of bombs
But can she defeat the deadly Raft of Khan?

Romilly Moreau’s final outing as M.O.I.S.T Agent Clitty Teller as she is sent to dismantle billionaire Mac Bezberg’s evil microchip making organisation.

Amèlie Daltois takes over the role as Clitty Teller
Amèlie was previously offered the role in the 1970s but turned it down as she did not feel ready. With only a commercial for a breakfast cereal on offer she absolutely felt ready in 1987

Amèlie Daltois’ final appearance as Clitty Teller
This movie is known for being the “Grittiest Clitty” as she finds herself stripped of her M.O.I.S.T status while seeking revenge against nasty piece of work Tropé Mendez.

It’s Clitty versus a rogue M.O.I.S.T agent
After a 5 year absence Clitty Teller returns with Èlodie Broussard in the lead role
Prior to Clitty Teller, Broussard was best known for playing a Private Detective in the eighties TV series ‘Gillette Acier’.

Clitty Teller travels across the channel to England, the land of her father to take on evil media tycoon,Hubert Harmsmere, who wants to bankrupt Britain so he can buy it by spreading misinformation to start a war between Britain and Europe.

Clitty Teller must prevent ruthless criminal Ken Hard threatens to set off multiple bombs in major cities on the eve of a new millennium
The fact there are another 6 movies in the series means she succeeds.

The first Clitty Teller movie of the 21st Century and Èlodie Broussard’s final appearance in the role
She would go on to star in a number of other movies including the popular musical MAMAN MON DIEU! even though she couldn’t sing.

The first ever Clitty Teller novel begins a new modern era with Èlise Crècy in the staring role
Before production there was a suggestion that Clitty should be played by a man but was dismissed as being ‘too woke’. Create your own male secret agent.

With nobody trusting anybody Clitty Teller is out for revenge and teams up with the mysterious Chamomile who, whilst not Clitty’s cup of tea, is also out for revenge
Can they two trust each other long enough to kill people?
Yes…and they also have sex.

Clitty Teller must come to the rescue when the M.O.I.S.T Headquarters comes under attack from a former and rather disgruntled Agent.

It’s Clitty Teller vs arch nemesis Blōbach again… for the very first time as she tries to bring down S.N.A.T.C.H for good.

Clitty Teller is brought out of retirement to battle an absolute wrong ‘un
Won’t spoil the end but she doesn’t get to return to her allotment afterwards.
