As the previous decade came to a close and a new one began, there was a collective hope that the 2020s would be a fantastic and wonderful decade, provided it started on a positive note, without anything significantly bad happening.

Macabre Mallet was eagerly preparing to launch a multitude of new movies, intended to captivate cinema audiences. People would sit closely together in packed auditoriums, sharing the experience of every jump scare and gasp.

Leading the charge once more were Talulah Drummond and Poppy Sullivan, who had solidified their status as beloved fan favorites in the world of Macabre Mallet films.

The original movie planned for 2020 was an epic Zombie movie with a cast of a thousand extras but due to Covid restrictions it was not possible to have them two metres apart and fit them all on the screen.
However, when Covid caused all the hairdressers to close, the production team used the facilities to make a movie about a demon hairdresser.

Macabre Mallet made it clear this was nothing like Sweeney Todd : The Demon Barber because their version was totally non-discriminatory and gladly butchered both men and women getting a hair cut.
Filmed under strict Covid protocols with Talulah Drummond insisting nobody comes two metres near her – although, to be fair, that had been a contractual requirement of hers for the past decade.

Jenny (played by Poppy Sullivan) is tired of dating after a number of awkward experiences .
However, not wanting to waste her dating app subscription she devises a plan – she will clone herself.

Yet, the Cloning Device she orders from Wish is not as foolproof as she would like and Jenny inadvertently ends up making a bloodthirsty femme fatale clone.
Not only does she have to worry about being arrested for a number of murders but she will have to save herself…from herself.

Set in 1960s England, Deirdre (played by Poppy Sullivan) is rather alarmed one day to wake up and find her fiancé has become a zombie.
However, with the wedding only weeks away and not wanting to face the disapproval of her church-going Mother, Deidre decides to make it work.

Can Deidre find true love with an undead being or will her fiancé end up eating the brains of the vicar before they get to their vows?

All hell breaks loose when a water company poisons a river causing an Otter to mutate and go on a murderous rampage.

The only hope for the residents of the quaint town of Coffeyford lies with a former member of a punk band (played by Talulah Drummond)
